The space between two touching walls or the meeting of three touching surfaces is one of the inevitable elements of architecture. The corner is also a place of passage – it is an area where something stops, stays or accumulates and grows, but is is also an area that is often bypassed and overlooked by light, whilst the eye often stops there. The installation consists of a dynamic interplay of geometric shapes and organic structures, as well as shadowy images that appear within the installation, revealing a moment of stopping in the process of passing, decay and degradation. The contrast that emerges between the organic and the artificial creates an intermediate space between something that has been stopped in the process of decay and the viewer who exists in the time of transience.
